What We Love About Fringe

Being a stylist is obviously a super rewarding job in and of itself. I mean, who wouldn’t want to make people FEEL good by making them LOOK great every day? This being said, we have to say that being a stylist at Fringe feels above and beyond special. There is something super magical about our space that we all hold dear in our hearts, so we are going to try to sum it up for you in a bit of a love letter to Fringe Collective.

First of all, our space itself is pretty wonderful. From brass accents, to vintage furniture, to tiger wallpaper, we added little bits of personality everywhere. Working in a space that sparks creative energy is super important to us. Feeling that magic every day that we walk through the doors is what keeps our work fresh and exciting. Having a space that feels unique, inviting and cozy to our clientele was just as important to us when designing the space. It has quickly become a second home to our team members and we constantly work together to keep it fresh and new by taking team trips to our favorite antique spots for new art and popping into Anthropologie for new cozy scents and throws for our lounge! We couldn’t feel luckier to call Fringe ours.

The fashion culture at Fringe is pretty dang exciting too. We aren’t your typical uniformed-in-all-black team. We believe color and personal style add a special touch to our space. Each of our team members has a unique personal style that reflects in their work, life and even clientele! We often work with our clients on personal styling too because we all just love it that much!

Above all of this, we specifically value the wonderful relationships that we cultivate with our team members and clients. Over all, our space very much feels like a home, our team members and clients feeling like family. This kind of environments makes coming to work feel so very special and exciting, we couldn’t imagine having it any other way. From continuing education on the most cutting edge services in the beauty industry to team bonding over cocktails at our favorite restaurant in town, Fringe cultivates a work environment like no other in the best way possible.

Working with the best products and tools the beauty industry has to offer is also very important to all of us here at Fringe. Kerastase, Olaplex, Dyson, and Ergo are just a few of the wonderful brands we get to use on our clients ( and ourselves! ) every day at the salon. Working with amazing companies like these make our jobs not only easier, but more exciting and inspiring every day.
